Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

As per the University Grants Commission (UGC) our college has an INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL with appropriate structure and processes and with enough flexibility to meet the diverse needs of the stakeholders. The IQAC is meant for planning, guiding and mentoring Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities of the colleges. The IQAC channelizes and systematizes the efforts and measures of an institution towards academic excellence and sustainable development.

Goals of IQAC

  • To develop a quality system for consistent, conscious, and catalytic programmed action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the college.
  • To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internationalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.

Objectives of the IQAC Cell

  • To develop a mechanism for conscious, consistent, catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the Institute
  • To enhancing the quality of faculties by promoting and encouraging overall faculty development
  • To enhance overall development of students by creating holistic learning
  • To develop stronger relation among Industry-Academia for the benefit of commerce students.
  • To act as change agent in the institute

Functions of the IQAC Cell

  • Development of parameters or benchmark for academic and administrative activities
  • Organizing the various activities with the integration of various departments
  • Organizing Workshops, Seminars, FDP’s for teaching and non teaching members.
  • Organizing of various programs like workshops, carrier guidance sessions, debate, quiz to enhance learning skills and leadership qualities for students
  • Arrangement of feedback mechanism for various stakeholders in view of overall development of institute
  • IQAC cell act as Documentation cell for various activities conducted in college.
  • Adoption of Best Practices and dissemination of good practices
  • Adoption of ICT enabled teaching and learning.
  • Enhancement of Institutional Quality
  • Conducting the Regular Meetings of IQAC Cell
  • Preparation of mandatory quality reports (AQAR)
  • Quality improvement of through interactive forums for both students and teachers
  • Leading the institute for assessment and accreditations.
