The S.S.S. Samiti’s legacy in education, affiliated with Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, continues to flourish under the leadership of Sanmati Shikshana Sahakari Samiti Ltd., Shedbal (Belagavi). Founded in 1952 by visionary philanthropists, the Samiti laid its foundation with the establishment of a commerce college in Shedbal in 1968. This initiative marked the beginning of a journey dedicated to academic excellence, which was further strengthened when the college was relocated to Belagavi in 1973. Over the decades, the society has expanded its educational footprint and now proudly operates a diverse array of institutions catering to students at every level of education.

In 1982, the commerce college was renamed Mahaveer P. Mirji College of Commerce, a tribute to Shri Mahaveer P. Mirji, whose generous contributions transformed the institution. This milestone set the stage for a broader vision of nurturing intellectual and professional growth.

At present, the Samiti manages an impressive portfolio of institutions, which include Sou. Shobha Jagadish Savadatti English Medium School, Jagadish A. Savadatti PU College, Mahaveer P. Mirji College of Commerce, the PG Department of Commerce, and the BBA College. Each of these institutions reflects a steadfast commitment to fostering academic excellence, innovation, and holistic development.
